THE DILEMMA

Who am I?

Am I what this wanton world says I am?
OR
Am I what my demarcating destiny is turning me into?

Am I a fatuous face, walking down the trampled road?
OR
Am I a disruptive dame?

Am I the one defeated by coercing circumstances?
OR
Am I an invincible soul?

Am I being molded by my Kin’s expectations?
Or
Am I chasing my dissentient yet dignifying dreams?


As long as this Dilemma subsists, my very existence remains inefficacious. But soon after its eradication, I’ll be

WHAT MY SOUL YEARNS TO BE.
